Team building with Dr. Campano and her staff at the new restaurant in Palmdale, El Terasco Bar and Grill! Dr. Campano stepped out of her comfort zone of her usual order of fajitas and scored with this yummy Tampiquena platter.
Dr. Campano loves to cook. A holiday tradition in our house is that I make a vat of seafood pasta with linguine and everyone enjoys.
I don’t really follow recipes but this is my basic recipe for homemade spaghetti sauce:
Saute onions and garlic.
Use 2 or more large cans of San Marzano tomatoes.
Can of tomato paste,
I bring everything to a boil, then I let everything simmer for several hours. Spice tea taste preference.
I added squid, muscles, scallops and fish. I use salmon, but you can use tilapia or some other mild fish.
Close to the time when you decide to end cooking the sauce, add some shrimp and crab.
Make linguine al dente and enjoy!
If you are bold and make your own pasta, I commend you, but I just use box.
