Evolysse™ Form & Smooth – Frequently Asked Questions
Evolysse™ is a new collection of injectable hyaluronic acid (HA) dermal fillers developed by Evolus, the company behind Jeuveau®. The first two products in this line—Evolysse Form and Evolysse Smooth—are FDA-approved for correcting moderate to severe dynamic facial wrinkles and folds, particularly nasolabial folds (NLFs), in adults aged 22 and older.
Evolysse™ fillers utilize proprietary Cold-X™ Technology, a manufacturing process designed to preserve the natural structure of HA. This approach aims to provide longer-lasting, natural-looking results by maintaining the integrity of the HA molecule.
- Evolysse Form: Formulated to provide lift and support, making it suitable for deeper wrinkles and folds.
- Evolysse Smooth: Designed to soften and smooth lines, ideal for more superficial wrinkles.
Both are intended for use in dynamic areas of the face, such as the nasolabial folds.
Clinical studies have demonstrated that Evolysse Form provides statistically significant improvement over 12 months, while Evolysse Smooth shows significant results at 6 and 9 months. These outcomes were observed even when compared to Restylane-L, a leading HA filler.
Common side effects include tenderness, swelling, bruising, redness, lumps, pain, discoloration, itching, and headache at the injection site. Most of these effects are mild and resolve within a week.
